    Can I get Wireless Internet????

We currently have Hot Spots that have amplified signals, and un-managed Hot Spots in several areas in the Amory and Aberdeen area. If you are within a decent range, or have direct line of site(LOS) of one of our Wireless Antenna Towers then you can get this service for your home or business. If you do not have a direct line of site to one of our towers, you may qualify for our 900MHz none line of site(NLOS) service which is only $5.00 more per month and offers faster speed.

We are giving a Dial-Up account as a backup with all wireless accounts so that areas where the wireless signal is not available, you may use your DSL or dial up account. Mid South Computers also carries everything needed to get your wireless setup including Notebook PCMCIA WiFi cards, PCI Desktop cards, and several different antenna options.

    How much does it cost????

Basic wireless service is set at a rate of $40.00 per month, and Business Class wireless is set at $50.00 per month. Midsouth.com Wireless Service is sold on a 12 month contractual term. Installation charges for midsouth.com wireless is $99.00 2.4GHz - $179.00 900MHz which includes ALL wiring and equipment providing service is under the 12 month agreement term.
NOTE: There will be an additional $5.00 charge per month for 900MHz service.

All equipment will be the property of midsouth.com unless customer wishes to purchase equipment. If no term is used for service, customer must pay for ALL install charges and equipment required for Wireless Internet Service at their premises. All Wireless Internet Plans come with a Dial-Up account which will allow you to dial into one of our 35 Mississippi POPS.
